My dear instructor and friend,
We have agreed to publish a weekly supplement to the "Al Maghrib" newspaper that will be totally dedicated to cultural affairs and to international events.
This supplement will be called upon to express our country's aspirations for renewal in the intellectual, social and economic realms.
Efforts will be made to establish it as a platform for all who heartily wish to serve their country by pointing it on a path towards renewal that encompasses all fields of enterprise, based on solid foundations and derives the strength of its authenticity from Morocco's past and from its hopes for the future.
It should not be surprising that a project such as this one requires before all else the combined efforts of enlightened intellectuals to participate in a work of this magnitude.
This is what has lead the staff responsible for this literary weekly to write you with the hope of obtaining from you an editorial contribution and to profit from your advice and recommendations which they will not fail to take seriously into account for the success of their targeted mission.
It is only in this manner that the weekly supplement will garner the support of our country's intellectuals and will be able to (properly) reflect an image of Moroccan thinking abroad.

Dear Instructor Abdallah Guennoun Al Hussayni,
The "Al Maghrib" newspaper resumes circulation starting on the 24th of this month.
I take this opportunity to express our gratitude for the thankless services you have rendered to its cause and which allowed it to considerably widen the horizons of its distribution.
The editorial staff again appeals to your kindness to assist once again in its mission which is none other than to be in the service of our common patriotic ideals and to work together in the interest of our nation.
We await your correspondence and your essays that we wish to include in the first editions of our new distributions.

My dear instructor and friend,
The "Al Maghrib" newspaper will resume circulation the day after the Aid Al Kebir holiday.
I am in no position to request from you an editorial contribution to the first release of the coming series. (After all) you were amongst those who paved the path it followed in its first days of its inception.
The newspaper is involved with the current generation's projects. It will be in the future just as it had in the past a platform for our youth who are conscious of their duty to their nation. (That said), I am expressing the hope that your pen will leave its mark on the first edition.
Moreover it is my pleasure to inform you that the censure of newspapers in Arabic has been lifted. I look forward to your letters, your comments and all that will naturally assist the newspaper's mission in the best of all possible conditions.

Said Hajji's letter to Abdallah Guennoun informing him that the editorial staff of the magazine "Al Taqafa Al Maghribia" (Morocco's Cultural Magazine) plans to resume special editions on literary issues.
My dear instructor and friend,
It is my pleasure to bring to your attention that the board of the "Al Taqafa Al Maghribia" made the decision to resume circulation of special editions on literary issues once every two weeks.
A dedicated friend such as you who was in the vanguard of the literary elite thanks to his huge service rendered to Moroccan thinking, understands perfectly well the need for the tight cooperation from our intellectuals so that future releases can respond to the needs of the readership.
I do not wish to give the impression that I insist on obtaining by all means an editorial input by one such as you who has no need to have the importance of what is at stake underlined for him. My wish is to inform you, no more no less, on behalf of the magazine board who places great pride to have you among its active members and who benefits from your priceless support ever since the release of the first literary supplement of the (parent) newspaper "Al Maghrib."
If certain circumstances deprived the magazine readers of your captivating writings which were notably absent in all of the special editions of the current year, it would be my pleasure to think that the motives that provoked these circumstances would also disappear.
Hence the editorial committee can only rejoice with this new fact and accomplish the pure cultural duty it enlisted as its goal ever since the first days of its existence.
The special editions will be released on the first and the fifteenth of the month with abundant literary input from our intellectuals. Furthermore the board of "Al Taqafa Al Magribia" expresses the hope to see your essay among the principal writings to be editorialized and insist they be published in the next special edition.
While waiting for your essay and your comments, I ask you to believe, dear instruction and friend, the expression by the board of "Al Taqafa Al Maghribia." for its most distinguished consideration of you.
