Editorial staff member of the magazine "Al Magrib Al Jadid" (The New Morocco) to the (prominent political) leader Allal El Fassi
Dear honorable friend,
The "Al Magrib Al Jadid" magazine begins its second year next Rabi al-Awwal, (the third month of the Islamic Calendar).
It will circulate for a short while once every two weeks and then it will become a weekly.
Its editorial board of which you are a member intends to ensure in this new phase of the magazine that it will be a progressive factor for our country while also serving as a fertile activity forum for our intellectuals.
It is highly desirable that the magazine publish an article conceived by you in the first edition of its second year.
We would be immensely grateful if you could provide such an article before this coming May 13 and we are sure your effort will as always be of service to our (national) culture and to the sciences.

I have sent you in an earlier mailing a response to the letters you had sent me as well as an article drafted by Abdelkrim Ghailab; hopefully they all have reached you safely.
