Minister Ramadier declares:
"It is our duty to address the issues of the working class"
"Our movement, from its beginning, has been to defend the weak, to bring justice to the oppressed, to help the poor and enlighten the uninformed. It has many affinities that drive its policies consistent with socialist and humanitarian principles. That is the reason why we decided to contact all political leaders who adhere to these principles beginning on day one of our movement's creation. We explained to them our goals and expressed our support for their political, economic and social reform agenda.
These leaders testified on behalf of our movement and never hesitated to support our own demands. On numerous occasions, they have even come to the defense of a number of our fellow citizens who were brought before French courts. That is how strong ties were established between the patriotic youth of these nations and our movement which represents a France, free and democratic, that respects the human rights of these country. Rights to which Islam gives primordial importance."
This announcement led to a resurgence of good feelings about the intentions of France and the French liberals. From this and the recent upheavals at home, a renewed hope has born that a new policy would be dictated to the French (protectorate) administration who has the upper hand on the affairs of this country. This new policy would correct their administrative processes so they are in line with the spirit of openness demonstrated by the French national government.
The Moroccan patriots take every opportunity to express their appreciation for the spirit of freedom for all that reigns in France. However they are extremely concerned and dismayed by (local) policies that have led to segregation and poverty in Morocco and this despite the fact the current (French national) government was brought to power by the support of the very same people who never stop supporting our demands and goals.
